Share in the Warmth, Joy and Hope of our Creator God

The clouds rolled through overhead, with a light breeze, making the contrast of the day ever so amazing.  But the beauty of the sun shining through with its warmth added a contrast of brilliance, all of its own.  The colours made only more brilliant by the patches of white and grey clouds, a warm, light-filled day made ever more spectacular by the feel, sight and sounds of birds- there's something special about a spring feel wedding.  When it's all said and done that moment to stop, breath in deeply, pause and take a photo with one's mind, whilst prayerfully praising God for those fleeting, powerful moments!  To recognise the value of family and friends, coming together for a moment of joy that even the best photo could never capture, this is the amazing reality of the warmth of a new season.

One author speaking of the downs and ups of life put it this way, "no matter the weather, wherever you are, bring the sunshine."  For every person of faith this is an imperative, do we recognise and bring the Son with us?  It seems that coming out of the winter months, the spring sun is so glorious.  As the sun warms the ground, the ground warms the air, so we as humans can be conductors of the created warmth and light that originates from our creator.  That's the beauty of spring, the glory of the warmth is so much more evident as it follows the cool! So also, is renewing warmth each day of a person of faith bringing warmth and light, what a great privilege we have.

So, in this spring season we too may share in the warmth and rightly share in the sentiments of Romans 15:13 which says "I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit."  May the warmth of this spring remind you of the opportunity to share in the warmth, joy and hope of our creator God, our Lord and friend Jesus Christ.  May we especially bring the Son and the warming hope of His soon return.
